Went to Ellis Bar Sunday Night in South Slope!
It was AWESOME! The chef sent out some shrimp in chipolte sauce on the house and they were great. They have $3 Rolling Rock all the time. The bartender (who is also one of the owners) told us they put out food for a daily Happy Hour and that they do it until 10pm on Fridays and at like midnight on Saturday. The kitchen should be fully open in a week, Ii think they need to pass an inspection or something. The juke box is good. I think they have some dart boards. The owners are super friendly and live in the neighborhood. He's a great cook and she is really funny. Totally check it out. I live around the corner and I think it's my new local. Has anyone else been there? What did you think?
