Ethnic in ATL?

We will be visiting Atlanta this week from Columbia, SC and while I love " slow Southern" food, I really love all kinds of ethnic food! Do you have a recommendation for something I may not be exposed to in Columbia or that may be so much better than what we have? For example, we have one Pho restaurant that is pretty good, but.... We love Indian and Thai. I've never been to an African restaurant. What's your recommendation for something different?

Sending back food when you just don't like an ingredient. Is it good restaurant etiquette?

I would definitely not call me an etiquette specialist, but I would not send back the dish. I can be somewhat picky and often find ingredients to be off putting/overwhelming in dishes (ie green peppers!), but I either ask if the dish includes them before ordering or try the dish and if I can't get through it, I might stop for a burger on the way home. If everything is cooked properly, I don't complain. If the flavors are bad, I don't return.

What is a good source for mail order olives?

I LOVE olives, but cannot afford to buy them at the expensive olive bars at the gourmet shops in town. Is there a less expensive source, mail order or otherwise, for good quality olives? If not less expensive, what is your favorite source/variety?

My pizza stones keep cracking?

This is exactly what happened to me today. My stone is a hand-me-down, so I'm unsure of the brand, but I've had it for a year. I'm pretty sure my aunt had it for several before that. I've had no problems with it until today I baked bread at 450 degrees (higher than I normally use) and put water below it. If I get a new stone, how can I prevent this from happening again? Is there a brand that is good and inexpensive? Thanks, Lisa

Birthday Dinner in Columbia, SC

I'm charged with organizing a birthday dinner for about 10 30-year-old guests. The birthday girl is pregnant and has no preference in the restaurant! (But drinks are not so important.) I'm thinking about $15 a person would be best and all the "special occasion" restaurants in this town are in the $20+ range. Any suggestions that I might not be thinking about? We live downtown/Shandon area. The best place I'm thinking of at the moment is Za's.
