This place is awesome and worth the drive from St. Augustine Beach. We had a huge party of 18 and ordered several of their Large Platters and loved everything - fried, grilled seafood, and BBQ.
Bonus - There were manatees that were eating out at the dock so the kids also loved seeing them.

This place used to be great in the 1990s when all-you-can-eat rock shrimp was $9.95. Not that great anymore. The rock shrimp do taste like little bites of lobster and 3 dozen is still a good price. The corn fritters and seafood chowder are both still good.

The best wings in FL are in Ormond Beach. I assume these have to be listed somewhere in this thread - Houligan's Wally Wings. They now have 2 Ormond Beach locations and each Ormond Beach exit off I-95 has a Houligan's.
Eat these and you will laugh at some of these replies naming places like Wing Zone, Wing House, Hooters, Chili's, Ale House, etc.

If you want great Bagels and Bialis, head to Ormond Beach (just north of Daytona).
This place is legit and is 15 minutes from I-95.

Villagio Pizzeria in Newberry is worth driving from Gainesville. I drove there today after reading about it on the board. It is the best pizza I have had in Florida and I have been trying it everywhere because my job is to drive around the state.
ISO Monte Cristo sandwiches in Orlando
I think there are a lot of people who are like your mom. That Monte Cristo is the greatest sandwich ever.
Jungle Jim's used to have them, I haven't been there in years though.
Need St. Augustine advice
PLACE TO AVOID: There is a pizza place near the Publix and Starbucks on A-1-A over near the beach. They some how win Best Pizza in St. Augustine every year from the local paper. I went out of my way to get one their pizzas this past year while on vacation there. It was terrible. I almost left when I walked in to pick it up and they were using a Dominos conveyor belt oven.

Barnacle Bill's (2 locations - A1A and Downtown) has great Fried Shrimp as well as their own Spicy Fried Shrimp with Dat'l peppers.
Outback Crab Shack is awesome too. www.outbackcrabshack.com. They have a menu online, but if you are staying at the beach in St. Augustine - it is at least a 30 minute drive.
Great Food - Doesn't Have to be Fancy - in Orlando
I don't go to Tijuana Flats anymore. I used to like it - until I had Chipotle.
Daytona to St Aug Rec's
There is a place on the west side of A-1-A in Flagler Beach called Martin's - they have great prime rib and they serve giant slices of it. They also have great seafood.
Help i am in Daytona beach
I am cracking up about Royal Dynasty being in the Jewish part of town. The food there isn't very good anymore. They have changed owners and it just is not what it used to be.
Houligans has the best wings. Pete's and Pagano's both have great pizza. Ronin is the best sushi.
For a good steakhouse - drive to Orlando.
