koba- korean food in west la
Just read this - yes, I agree! Tofu Ya is the place to go for authentic Korean food on the westside.

koba's good for the westide if you're craving above average korean food and you don't want to drive into K-town. it's more authentic than gyenari or wharo (on the west side) but i prefer eating my kalbi at a Tofu Ya, next to asahi ramen next to the olympic collection. i will tell you that koba's pork/kimchi/tofu dish is pretty kick ass though.
Are tasting menus worth the $$$
I'm starting to really get jealous about Kevin H's food excursions. Oh how I wish I could go to Urusawa!

I'm also a huge fan of XIV. Great decor and wonderful tasting menu. Highly recommend it.

Very thorough review! Very nice. Too bad they were jerks about the picture taking. I love Starck but he needs to get off his high horse about this photography BS.

Thanks for the amazing pictures! I didn't take any when I went so I got to relive the whole experience with you! My favorite restaurant in LA hands down.
