Birthday dinner in Portland
I have been to Fore Street and Street and Company. We are trying to pick a place for dinner for my birthday. Here are the choices:

What does everyone think of this place? I have heard rave reviews from friends, but I have never been.
Looking for good Breakfast Place in Portland
I like Pat's on Stevens Ave for brunch. I think they open at 9am.....yum!
Destination Restaurants?
I used to live in Vergennes and ate at the Black Sheep at least ten times, it is a great place, but I wouldn't drive hours to eat there. A previous poster mentioned Starry Night, and I much prefer it to Black Sheep. Someone also mentioned Cafe Shelburne....it is a good as well, but not outstanding in my opinion...I feel over the last ten years the food has gone downhill.
The Pitcher Inn in Warren, I just love and if you feel like going crazy...try the wine cellar tasting dinner....one of the best meals I have ever had.
Hugo's in Portland is another great choice!
