Good food/service for a 30th b-day party of 10 people in NoVA?
I can second Liberty Tavern... I went there in August for my own 30th birthday with a group of 8. Everything was great and they totally took care of us. I even had to change the reservation a couple of times since the number of people changed.

I ate in DC last week and everything was fantastic. In fact, the service was so good, we made a point to tell the Maitre D on the way out. I actually inquired about their restaurant week menu and our server told us to that he doesn't recommend going there for restaurant week. He said there are better places in the city for RW and they had a very limited RW week menu with only 3 choices for entrees and no sides. I appreciated his honesty.

Funny that you say that! I am from Pittsburgh, and LOVE the crabcakes at Monteray Bay!!! I just recently saw that they opened the chain in Tyson's, as well. However, I am looking to go somewhere new and unique to this area. Thanks, though!

It's my 30th Birthday and my parents and sister and brother-in-law will be in town. I love fresh seafood and am looking for somewhere to go in DC or Northern VA. Any suggestions?
