For easy: in season full flavored fruit display. Otherwise I'm game for whatever the host wants!
My favorite comfort food:
A great hamburger with a nice slice of pickle, or some "apps" like smoke fish or smoked salmon on a bagel, or perhaps a nice grilled cheese with tomato soup...

I used to be a freelance food writer/critic for the Plain Dealer in Cleveland so I've tasted a lot of food in Cleveland (and elsewhere). It's really too broad of a question- need a genre or parameters to start with...
