Honeymoon in France- Annecy and Provence

L'Oustau has to be one of the most romantic places to dine in the world and couldn't agree more with you ChefJune.
I plan to take my girlfriend there for her birthday this September 16th.

Congratulations michaelstl!

If you had a choice, where would you eat? Jean Georges or Gordon Ramsay?

I do agree with the service to be a bit more refined at JG.
I don't do dessert so I cannot comment but the wine list is incredible at JG.
I look forward to your report.

I like to go up for long weekends at San Ysidro Ranch and couldn't agree more with you on Stonehouse.

Music & Food - Cooking music? Songs about food?

You are quite welcome Beach Chick!
Love your humor and your take on life.
Your posts are extremely comical and I enjoy them immensely.

Music & Food - Cooking music? Songs about food?

I cook the same way and love that it inspires you in the kitchen and in life too.
I have a huge gourmet kitchen as well that spills into the great room and I had to sound proof the maids quarters because she was tired of hearing my music so loud.

Best SF restaurants to bring food lovin' out-of-towners?

I really enjoy Gary Danko's but that is somewhat fancy.
Slanted Door, Zuni's or Scoma's.

If you had a choice, where would you eat? Jean Georges or Gordon Ramsay?

I have an office in NYC and I really enjoy Jean Georges.
Gordon Ramsay is very good but I like the wine list better at JG.

Which Michelin 3 in Paris is worth being poor for?

I'm partial to Taillevent & Guy Savoy.
L'Arpege is a great deal for lunch without breaking the bank.
