GLUTEN FREE IN THE CHARENTE
Excellent find.
We will contact them for a meal situation, since we booked accomodations already.
GLUTEN FREE IN THE CHARENTE
Excellent. We already booked a Gite, however I will for sure inquire about just the food part.
Thank you

Gluten Free in Paris??!!
Unreal. French Fries. A staple for my family when dining out here in Canada.
Maybe we have to move to Europe. And start a GF Bakery there

Sounds like salad and Steak Frites for my family....travelling to the Charentes this summer with two Celiacs.

GLUTEN FREE IN THE CHARENTE
Much appreciated, thank you. Maybe an extra suitcase is the answer.

Any pointers for restaurants in Agouleme, Cognac, Saintes, Royan that are serving GF options and/or bakeries?
Which Supermarket chain should we look out for that has a good selection of gluten free items
Thanks

The new Calgary Farmers' Market at Blackfoot Centre will open tomorrow
Perigord sandwich at Le Petit Mousse. My highlight today.
Horizons Meats
Odd location, great products. Knowledgable owner. The quality of the meat looked very good. Unfortunately the sausages were not gluten free. I bought some nice Nitrate free ham instead.

Nice first episode. I can see some color in the next few competitions.
Wurst - Calgary German Beer Haus
I am cautiously optimistic. Leberkäse is apparently on the menu.
29$ for a 14" take out pizza? Am I getting old?
As long as we pay twenty bucks plus for a pie, as long they will charge it.
I don't want to bring Europe into the equasion (again), but it's hard to find a great Pizza for more than 9.00 Euros. From a wood fired oven no less.
Bulk Barn Opening Soon in Calgary
Went there Friday, Line ups were OK.
Smaller food print than Edmonton South. Loads of specials. A bit of a trek, but if you are anywhere near the area, it's worth the visit.

Actually. If you look at her application video, there is more to Rebekah than desserts. I did not know that. Plus, she'll bring some color to the game I am sure.
Dutchess Bakery - Edmonton (review)
Every time I head to Edmonton, this place is a must visit.
Have yet to encounter anything sub par. Including the Macarons (without the extra o), which are a close second to Yann Haute in Calgary.
Last time we tried a couple of their Danishes which were excellent as well.
Never had a whole cake from them.

Connie De Sousa from Charcut and Rebekah Pearse from (former) Nectar
Makes the show more interesting to watch for locals.

Kingsland Farmer's Market: Highly recommend!
Did you try any of the gluten free items?
Bulk Barn Opening Soon in Calgary
It's really interesting. I found the staff to be very helpful about specific questions re. ingredients that may not be posted on display labels.
A great product mix and very clean.
Bulk Barn Opening Soon in Calgary
Yes, they do offer spices as well. I went to the one in Edmonton a while back. It's interesting to see what they carry.

March 4th they say.

Bairro Chicken - Calgary
It is Rice, yes. Not sure why they served it in a container though.
Bairro Chicken - Calgary
Went there today and tried their Flame Broiled Chicken. Medium Piri-Piri, which had a nice kick to it. Marinated for 24 hours. Bai Rice was good as well.
Loads of specials, probably to kick start the business. 2 quarters, dark meat, $6.35
Also tried their fried chicken, very good as well. The coating was crispy and not starchy at all.
