A home cooked meal that I had while in Uzès, France: Simple (wonderfully fresh) tomato salad followed by the most delicious Provençale style roasted leg of lamb. The cook was Moroccan, so the entire meal was influenced accordingly. There was cheese at the end, but I have forgotten what they were (it has been a long time). The meal was paired with a perfectly spicy Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
My current drink of choice:
My own: Hendrick's gin with grapefruit juice (only works when fresh squeezed) and either muddled cucumber or a cucumber spear.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
An hors d'oeuvre: Enoki mushrooms and scallions wrapped in bacon and baked. Simple, a touch greasy, but delicious.
My favorite comfort food:
Phở or sushi (I oddly crave it when I am under the weather.).
