Deerfield Beach/Boca Area
Trulucks is good and you can walk around Mizner after. What kind of food are you looking for? There is also New York Prime, Capital Grill, and Chops Lobster Bar all in the Boca area.
Has anyone seen fresh peas?
Publix carries them too in the pod - they are my kids favorites. Just ask the produce department and they can always get them in for you...
Gluten Free and Vegetarian Eating Companion
Hi! Don't know if you have visited yet, but there is a great vegan restaurant with gluten free options - Sublime on Federal Highway. Also, Pizza fusion makes a vegan, gluten free pizza. It is very casual but has what you're looking for! Good luck and have fun!

Brunch for 12 in Boca
A little last minute but looking for a good place for 6 adults and 6 kids!
Big birthday dinner near Dania
My daughter is turning 7 and is a very picky eater and we have a ton of family coming in for her birthday next weekend. They are staying in Dania Beach and the Fort Lauderdale area so we were asked to come down by them for dinner. We need somewhere fun and good for a birthday where everyone will be able to find something to their liking. And there will be at least 12 of us!
Seeking Vegan or Vegetarian Restaurants in Broward County
In Weston is a pizza place called Pizza Fusion. It is excellent! Most of the ingredients are organic and they do have vegan pizza with soy cheese. Sublime is worth the trip - it is a higher end restaurant that happens to be vegan. It is not cheap, as it is also mostly organic but all of the proceeds go to an animal rescue organization. You must try the crispy cauliflower! If you want to drive Northeast about 20 minutes, there is a little hole in the wall place in Coral Springs called Falafel Bistro. It is a "kosher" dairy restaurant that caters to vegetarians. For more ideas you can try this site too http://www.vegsouthflorida.com/

Need Help Picking a dinner for Friday night Palm Beach to Miami????????
There are a lot of options if you don't want to stay in the resort but also don't want to travel too far. For beautiful ambiance, one of the prettiest places I have been is The Addison. You are also close to Chops Lobster Bar and Three Forks. Zed 451 is at Mizner and is themed like an upscale Brazilian Steakhouse (but not Brazilian) where they bring the meat to your table and the Harvest Table is amazing. For stone crab, there is Jake's but it is definitely not Joe's in Miami. If you want to drive down the coast a little I have heard Todd English's Da Campo Osteria in the Il Lugano Hotel in Fort Lauderdale is great. We have not been there yet. Good luck and Happy Birthday!

Is there Japanese food on Marco Island?
Thanks BC! We need all the help we can get... I looked at some of the posts and they seem like very heavy meals! How far away is Naples from the Marriott? I am a vegetarian and my husband has lost 40 lbs. since january so he is trying to eat healthy. our kids are pretty good eaters too!
Is there Japanese food on Marco Island?
We are headed there in a couple of weeks and would love any restaurant suggestions. Nothing fancy as we are going with our 2 small children.
TOP SUSHI IN FLA
Kevin is still with Japango and is opening another location in Boca... this is the old sushi chef and his wife, Mike and Vivian Tsang. Vivian was also a waitress at Japango. In my opinion this place is much fresher and it is not as much of a scene. Try it and let me know what you think!
Marco Island with kids
We are going to Marco Island (Marriott) with our 2 kids (5 & 8) in August and are looking for good dinner suggestions. We eat on the healthier side and our kids are pretty good eaters too. I have not been there since college so I am sure there are a lot more (and better) options now. Japanese is always a favorite for the kids. Thanks!
Afternoon Tea in Miami. :),
There are actually a few places to go with the Biltmore definitely being the top of the list. I don't know if you are willing to travel a little but you could also try Montea Tea House in Coral Gables (305-648-9802) or Bubble Cafe & Tea Lounge in Doral (305-772-0501). There is also one in South Beach if you do not mind a very alternative lifestyle atmosphere. It is The Betsy Bistro and Tea Room at The Betsy Ross Hotel (305-531-3934 x356). Good luck!
Healthy Anniversary Dinner in SoFla
My husband recently lost a lot of weight and is watching everything he eats so we are looking for some recommendations for a good restaurant that has healthier options for our anniversary. We will go anywhere from Las Olas and surrounding areas (Hollywood) to Delray.
Bonita Springs/Naples - Casual Dining with kids
We were there are year ago and are coming back for a long weekend in a couple weeks. We were at a couple pretty good restaurants but are looking for some new good suggestions. Nothing too fancy since we will be there with our 8 & 5 year old! We were not able to find any good Japanese or Asian either!
Looking for good Japanese in Bonita Springs
We are traveling to Bonita Springs with our 2 kids (8 & 5) in a couple of weeks and are looking for a GOOD Japanese restaurant. My husband is a sushi eater and I am a vegetarian. We were there last year and walked in and out of a little joint connected to a motel. Any good suggestions? Any other suggestions would be helpful too!
Group Dining, Ft. Lauderdale, Wilton Manor?
I would suggest Christina Wan's in Fort Lauderdale right off of Federal. The food is always excellent, the service is very helpful and it is very alternative friendly!

Dinner for 14 in Cleveland
Since we do have some young ones we can not go too crazy with the ethnic cuisine, so I would say American, Italian & Chinese should be safe bets. And as for price I would say moderate since it could get crazy with that many people!
And Walt Disney World Foodie Recc's?
Here is another good thread to look at: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/551467
Dinner for 14 in Cleveland
We will be in the suburbs of Cleveland next week on the East Side (Beachwood, etc.). There are 14 of us in our party ranging in ages from 3 to 60's and we are looking for casual (but good) places to eat where they can accommodate our whole party.
TOP SUSHI IN FLA
A couple of months ago while visiting Yogurt Emporium in Boca we came across Rise Asian Cuisine a few doors down and tried it the next weekend. We are now regulars! It is off 18th between Powerline & Military and is probably the best sushi we have ever had. The sushi chef and owner came from Japango with his wife who was a waitress there and they have set up a top notch establishment. The bluefin tuna is my husband's favorite and is always fresh. They are very accomodating, will make you things not even on the menu and if you go this weekend you will see us there!
Disney - Near Hilton
I think the Hilton is right by downtown Disney which has a ton of restaurants to choose from. With that many in your party I would definitely suggest making reservations! If I am not mistaken, the Hilton has a Benihana which would be great for a large party. I would also call 407-WDW-DINE and they may have some suggestions for you based on availability. Also, it may be worth the trip to head to nearby Celebration which is an exit away and a quaint little town with some really good restaurants. The Town Tavern and Italian restaurants are our favorites and it is a really nice place to walk around. Also, over by Universal Emeril has some nice restaurants but it is a further commute. Try the Disney dining number and your hotel concierge who I am sure will be more then helpful!
Veggies on a budget (college students) to Miami !! Recommendations ?
I am also a veg but live in Broward county. If you want to go north you MUST go to Sublime in Fort Lauderdale. It is a little on the nicer side, but a complete vegetarian/vegan menu and the food is delicious. You may also want to try this website for suggestion: www.vegsouthflorida.com Good luck!
40th Birthday Celebration in Ft. Lauderdale
You may also want to consider By Word of Mouth (off of Oakland) which is delicious and the desserts are amazing or if you are a steak fan Hollywood Prime at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood.
Need Boca Raton and Delray Beach Dining Recs.
For Thai I would try Lemongrass. It is really Thai/Japanese! There is one location in Delray that is excellent people watching if you sit outside and they just opened a new location in Boca in the Royal Palm Place which was excellent. For Mexican I would recommend Moquila off of Palmetto. It is "trendy" Mexican but their guacamole is amazing!
Looking for Good Chinese Resturant in Boca Raton
Our favorite is Uncle Tai's at Boca Center off of Military (used to be Crocker Center). It is a little on the nicer side (it is Boca after all!) and maybe a few more dollars/dish but worth every penny.
Breakfast in Boca
I am meeting a friend who is coming in from out of town in Boca by the mall and wanted to see if anyone knew of any cute breakfast/brunch places near by. Some place where we could walk around after would be great!
Orlando Recomendations for non-hounds
If you want some places in Disney parks here are some suggestions although nothing at the parks is really spectacular dining:
Magic Kingdom - for sit down I would recommend the Liberty Tree Tavern (New England menu) or The Crystal Palace, which is a character buffet but the food is pretty decent.
Epcot - this park is a little more challenging if you do not want ethnic since most restaurants are in the various countries. Try Coral Reef which is seafood with beautiful scenery, Garden Grill (may be character dining depending on when you eat), Rose & Crown is an English Pub or Canada's steak restaurant Le Cellier.
Animal Kingdom - skip the dining! The only place I would recommend is Rain Forest which is a mediocre chain at best.
Disney Hollywood Studios - 50's Prime Time Diner is old fashioned cooking and the waitstaff is great. The other 2 are Hollywood & Vine which is buffet or Brown Derby which is fair.
At Disney's Boardwalk there is a good place called the Flying Fish Cafe which is mostly seafood and American Cuisine. It is also a nice place to walk around.
The other place I would recommend is at Wilderness Lodge. There is Artist Point which is a little on the nicer side and my husband's favorite is Whispering Canyon Cafe which is family style but good food and a lot of fun.
Celebration is an exit away and a little quaint with some cute little restaurants. I agree that the Town Tavern and Market Street Cafe are your best bets.
Breakfast/Brunch in Delray? West Palm Beach?
I too highly recommend Sundy House. They have valet parking so you can be dropped off right in the front and the grounds are beautiful. If it is nice out and not too cold they have outdoor seating around the gardens.
Girls Night in Coral Springs/Parkland
I am trying to plan a dinner Monday night for 15 girls in the Coral Springs/Parkland area. We want something good and fun but nothing too loud and crazy as it is for a planning committee and we need to get some work done! I am looking for anything new! Thanks!
When Your Assets Decline, where do you still Dine?
We discovered Spikey Ty in Coral Springs a few months back and we are now weekly regulars! It is on the corner of Wiles and Coral Ridge and looks like a take-out place but does have some seating inside as well. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. They specialize in both Japanese and Thai. My husband's favorite is the Cashew Chicken and my kids love the sushi (they have very mature taste!) and the Age Tofu! I am a vegetarian and my standby is the pad thai with tofu. They make it without fish sauce and it is delicious! Their family also has a restaurant in Weston - Miyoko Sushi which has the best ginger dressing and happily they brought the recipe to this location!
