GREAT DINNER--MODERATE PRICE
Visiting Scottsdale from N.J. need some cool restaurants. Like everything but Sushi. Indigenous the the area would be great!
Restaurant Week in Ridgewood
Went to LaTour Thursday night. $36.95 4 course tasting menu. Not just restaurant week. Outstanding French food. Small portions, but dessert was normal size. Great quality. They have this all the time. Cute place.

Strip House was great! Pricey as hell. Glad the boss picked up the tab! Strip steak with blue cheese special was about $46, iceberg salad with blue cheese, bacon was outstanding ($16). Creamed spinach, mashed potatoes-good.

I give it an A-! Bronzini was great., amazing sauce. However, the bartender filleted it for me and there were still bones in it. The vegetables were unique and flavorful. Cheesecake was outstanding. Do NOT eat DIRT! Should have known better--bad name for bad dessert!
Claustrophobics would not do well here!

Got a bad piece of Chilean Sea Bass--rubbery, horrible. They replaced it with another miniscule piece that was slightly better! For $32 they were not all that accomodating. A slight apology. I will not be returning for dinner. In this economy, they should have done better!
