Calling all pork bun eaters....

I just posted on another board about roast pork buns, I'm looking for a roast pork bun that has the red shreeded pork, thats sweet. I had it once before in fay da bakery in flushing, but i can't seem to find it again. I went to a few different places but ended up with the one with the cubed pork and a brown sauce. Does anyone know where i should go?

Looking for good roast pork buns in chinatown

I recently found out about roast pork buns. I went to fay da bakery in main st. flushing and picked it up by accident, and that has been the best mistake I ever made. Now I want to get them all the time. I went to Sun Say Kai for the first time today and they were really good. But does anyone know where I can find the pork buns with the red shreeded pork filling. I don't mind the other version were the meat is almost cubed with a brown sauce, but I prefer the sweeter one.

Am I crazy for thinking that Magnolia cupcakes suck?

I've had crumbs twice, i only went because of the hype. I don't know if its just me but I tried 4 different cupcakes to give them a fair shot: an oreo, carmel, red velvet and some other chocolate one, but they all tasted the same. I wouldn't go back. The best by far was Two Little Red Hens, I liked it so much that I bought a 12 inch red velvet cake for my birthday, and it was a hit.

Fresh sugarcane juice in NYC

I know you can get freshly squeezed sugarcane juice during the summer month in Richmond Hills Queens down Liberty Ave. I'm not sure about the dash of ginger and lime but you can get just the pure juice. The area has numerous Indian grocery stores. Its off the A train in NYC Lefferts Blvd.
