Looking for Taquero for birthday party
Hi
I'm trying to find a good taquero service to come to a birthday party in either the hollywood hills or silver lake. In San Diego, I have been to parties where the taqueros come with their own grills and make tacos with 3 or 4 types of meat which are amazing and really inexpensive. Looking for something similar in LA.
There were a couple posts about this on Chowhound, but they are pretty old.
Any help would be great. Thanks.
Where is a San Diego Burrito in LA?
Trying to keep this thread alive... I, too, moved to LA from San Diego. I cannot believe how bad most of the burritos are up here... I keep trying new places, and usually end up throwing the food out because it is so inedible. How can it be so hard to find something that is so simple!!? BTW, Lolita's in Bonita or Cotija in Pt. Loma are my favs in San Diego.
Italian recommendations near Glendale/ Los Feliz
It may have been either Aroma (on Sunset) or El Caserio (on Silver Lake Blvd). Both are excellent. Aroma might have the best service that I have had in LA. El Caserio is a mix of Italian and Ecuadorian, with great steaks. Either one would be a great choice for an anniversary dinner.
