Best Vegetarian in NYC
I've lived here forever and am still not sure that I have found the right vegetarian restaurant. I moved here from California and just have not been able to satiate my veggie cravings. Vegan, macrobiotic, all recommendations are welcome.

i would try shebeen. it's s south african restaurant on dekalb. they may have enough room and they have great rum punch!
Tacos in NYC
There's actually a mexican grocery on bedford ave in williamsburg, bk and if you walk all the way to the back there is a little place to order and eat tacos. they are cheap and quite good. Matamoros Puebla Grocery/193 Bedford Ave
Also, if you like fish tacos, La Bonita, another restau in Williamsburg on Bedford, has some really good ones.

I recommend going to "Chez Janou." It's in the Marais sort of tucked away and I've had two great experiences there. 2, rue Roger Verlomme, 75003 Paris - 01 42 72 28 41. Food is great and it's not totally expensive. Great experience food and atmosphere wise.
Paris African Market
There is a great outdoor market in the Belleville neighborhood of Paris which is in the 20th Arrondisement (take the metro to the Belleville stop and it's right there). I would recommend this neighborhood in general for African and Asian food in Paris.
Day trips outside of Mexico City
Im going to D.F. the end of August and I would greatly appreciate any recommendations of amazing food experiences and this certainly does not have to be fancy (probably better to find a place that is quirky with great food). It would be great to have some recommendations for places to go to outside of Mexico City. Thanks!
Buenos Aires for Vegetarians??
I love BA and actually found the local Hare Krishna restaurant in Palermo Viejo along the main park/square in the neighborhood to have really great vegetarian food. You can sit outside on small tables and they have a fantastic ginger limondade drink. Yummy empanadas and sandwiches. Everything fresh, I highly recommend it. Im sorry I dont know the address, but it's a great neighborhood and affords great people watching. Im sure it's the only one of it's kind, so you should be able to locate it. It's the first place I go when I go back to BA.
