I would really like to try Panisse. But my wife is a bit picky, and likes to chose. Am i right, that downstairs is a set menu (no choices) and in the Cafe you do have choices? Also does the food drop off in quality from one to the other?

How about Spanish food? We have some good mexican places in Atlanta, but no good Spanish places. Just now have 2 Italian places that are worth anything IMO: Sotto Sotto, and Pietra Cucina (if you ever come this way)

I am looking for something Unique, Classic California. Used to eat at the Ritz Dining Room here in Atlanta. Really I want something that I cant get here.

Also, I have a soft spot in my heart for the Berkley (sp) area, as my god mother got her PHD there in linguistics and I used to visit her there when I was young. A good lunch spot in the area will for sure be in the cards.

My Wife and I will be spending 2 days in here in August. I dont really know where we will be staying.
She is not big into Asian Cusine, she loves mexican, seafood, and sushi. I love it all. Not to worried about price at this point. We live in Atlanta, so not looking for any national chains, really some unique places, with great food, that the locals go to. Any help is greatly appreciated!

My wife and I of 3 years are finally able to take a honeymoon, so we have chosen to drive from San Francisco on a Sunday down to LA, we will have 7 days to make the trip. I would appreciate any and all suggestions on places that we must stop in for a good bite to eat.
We are open to all cusines (though she does not love Asian), and price points. Looking for good food, with nice atmosphere, and some good fresh cooking! Thanks so much,
Dinner and/or drinks - Pre Concert at Madison Square Garden
Looking for some help. I will be in town for the Phish concerts at MSG on 12/4. I am either going to Babbo or Le bernardin for dinner on Thursday. Going to hit up Spotted Pig for lunch on Friday, but want some place fun, with good beer to go before the show at MSG. Any help you can give is appreciated.

Any others? Went to the Italian last night, and had a simple pasta, and the Octopus Carpaccio which was fantastic. Any must have dishes at St.John. The roast bone marrow is on top of my list.

Paschel's in the Artrium is not a sitdown, it has tables, but is next to a wendy's, dominos, and chinease. There is a sit down Houlihans in the atrium that is not bad. The sit down Paschels is in one of the terminals.

Best steak in Buckhead?
If in Buckhead than do Bones, if you can get into the Highlands I would go to Kevin Rathbuns, and split the porterhouse with someone. Very good.
I have been to Bones many times, but if I am to choose a steakhouse I will go ot Kevin Rathbuns Steakhouse. But becareful not to make your reservation at Rathbuns.
Dress Code ??? - Cochon & jacquimo's
