Best meal I ever ate:

Catfish fried in a huge iron kettle at a family reunion in rural west Texas as a kid. Nothing could beat that.

My current drink of choice:

Iced tea. Good grief it's hot.

I really wish I could:

Spend my days bluewater fishing for red snapper.

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

Jello shots! OK, no... buffalo wings AND jello shots.(Down the rabbit's hole I go... I'm actually making jello shots for a 4th party after joking about it here... update: pineapple jello+coconut milk+rum=good, trashy fun!)

My favorite comfort food:

Chicken & andouille gumbo. Heaven. Recently I've been on a fried chicken kick and have fried no less than 5 birds in the last two weeks.
