thoughts on Osushi at the Westin?

Went last night. Sushi was more expensive than average, and quality was less than average. Fugakyu is still my favorite.

Fried Chicken?

I just got Popeye's in Kenmore Square. I had a hard time finding it though. It's on Brookline Ave, next to Uno.

The chicken was delicious. Not too greasy and the meat was very moist. Mashed potatoes were so so... I'd rather just have 2 biscuits, which were great.

My Wagamama expereince

I went to the Faneuil Hall location for lunch today. The line was a little long, but it moved rather quickly and we were handed menus so that by the time we sat down, we knew what we wanted. Seating is communal, with long tables that seat 5 on each side. This can be annoying if you're next to a talkative group. We were. Service was speedy, and the food came quickly.

My girlfriend had chicken ramen, which she was happy with. I had Beef Teriyaki Soba, which I loved. There was a very generous portion of flank steak on top of a bed of stir-fried noodles. Everything tasted fantastic. I wish it were closer to me, I would go much more frequently.

Definitely recommended, and I would definitely go again, hopefully very soon.

I need to find killer buffalo wings

Whiskey's has really good 10 cent wings Sundays through Thursdays from 4pm to 11pm. Nice and crispy. I hate soggy wings. You have to order them at the bar though.

I had Beer Works buffalo wings the other day. Those were really good to, not as good as Whiskey's.

Conveyor belt sushi

I actually went to Fugakyu the other night and asked about their Monday/Tuesday night deal. It's $4 per plate.

Conveyor belt sushi

Are there any conveyor belt sushi places in Boston? Near Northeastern is preferable, but easily accessible by T is a requirement.

Boston restaurants with low wine markups?

I think you're confused on the supply and demand relationship.

Wine at a good price

Thanks. I guess I need to work on my searching skills.

Wine at a good price

Are there any bars or restaurants in Boston to go for cheap bottles of wine? Preferably Back Bay, South End, or Fenway neighborhoods.

Grand Chau Chow

I went to Grand Chau Chow in Chinatown last night. The food was very mediocre and the atmosphere was just as bad. I asked for no vegetables in my kung pao beef because I was afraid there would be too much vegetables. The waiter refused, and just as I expected, it was loaded with water chestnuts. Barely any beef.
