best korean bbq?
IN Koreatown, we really like Kum Gang San. Otherwise, Bonn and Woo Lae Oak are probabaly the best in the city.
Chinese cocktails?
I don't know if the beer wouldn't make it taste too bitter?? Sake is mild and doesn't interfere as much with the Lichido and Canton flavors intermingling with the grapefruit juice

2 parts Lichido Liqueur
2 parts
1 part Canton Ginger Liqueur
1 part Grapefruit Juice
Mix with plenty of ice. Garnish with Lychee Nut or Grapefruit Wedge.
Looking for good but not pricey pasta
I second Cacio e Pepe. The pasta is delicious...especially the Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe, tossed with Romano cheese at tableside in a cheese bowl

I highly recommend the falafel at Rectangles. They make it with lots of herbs so they're green and fresh!

It's hard to beat the Chilean Sea Bass at Nobu, although it's pricey.

I think it is a NY thing.I've had Lichido cocktails at a few different restaurants already, and it seems it's getting awfully popular.No surprise there. It's really yummy!!! I've been a devoted fan for weeks now.

What To Have With BBQ moved...
I think a nice Grey Goose Extra-Dirty martini goes great with BBQ. The briny tartness of the olive juice in the martini cuts the smoky richness of the BBQ really well.
What can I do with vanilla vodka, besides give it away?
Vanilla Coke and Dr. Pepper is pretty good.

Best Italian in NYC?
There are many, but I really need to add Vittorio Cucina to the list. There are several different menus within their menu book, each for a different region in Italy. And they have a fettucinni parmesan that they serve in a hollowed out parmesan wheel, out of which they remove chunks and mix into your pasta tableside. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
