Maybe Las Brisas in Laguna...it's about 5 mins down PCH from Javiers. But I do agree with mikester that Javier's isn't a romantic place. But it depends on where you sit though. Off the top of my head, there really isn't that many "romantic" mexican restaurants in the area.

Gulfstream has great food but it doesn't have an ocean. It sits right at the corner of Macarthur and PCH. The building across the street blocks everything. But like I said before...it does have great food.

Drive a little south to Newport and Costa Mesa, the Sharkeez out there and Chronic Cantina in Costa Mesa might also have it on.

I had a chili and cheese dog from there and it was good. The wings are amazing too.
I always eat at the bar because I like how the TV is right there when a game is on. The bartender I always get...i think his name is Cole. I think he's the manager too. Always makes a great drink when I have a girl around. I just got with a PBR in a can. HAHA!!!
I should try the plain burger just with cheese.

By far one of the best burgers in Orange County. Get the #3. Mezzo secco Jack, Green chili and avocado. I get it with the turkey burger patty. AMAZING!! Also the fries are awesome. Half/Half with sweet potatoe and regurlar. The last time I was there they made me chili cheese fries. WOW! The staff is amazing too.
Taco Loco is the Tito's Tacos of OC. But at least we found some good coffee.
$30 for 5 tacos and 1 beer?!? That's crazy!
You can go to Javiers and get an awesome entree and 2 beers for $30.
LA sports bars with GOOD food and drinks?
I love going to Barney's Beanery in Old Town Pasadena. But they also have locations in LA and Santa Monica. Lots of TV's, Good Food and good beers on tap.

The classic BLTA is always delicious. I also like to just pan fry them, cut it into small pieces and back it with my mac & cheese.

Grill it.
I usually just pan grill with salt, pepper and olive oil for about 2 to 3 mins on each side. Then I put it in the oven with butter on top for about 7 mins in a 350 degree oven. Squeeze some lemon on top and you are done.

Wing Stop is awesome. There wing's are delicious.
If you had down to Newport Penninsula, Mutt Lynch's has delicious wings too. If you order half a dozen it is actually a dozen in most places because the little drum stick and wing is all connected. More wings for your money!

I agree with Mcdonalds...Sausage Mcmuffin with Egg and 2 hash browns.
But if I have couple more minutes to kill...A declicious Sausage, bacon and egg breakfast burrito.

I've never had hot smoked salmon but I eat cold smoked salmon all the time. I always put in on a bagel with chive cream cheese. It's delicious. Can't beat Lox and Bagel.

Glad I can help with the marinade. That's the only one I use and I love it. Try not to use too much seasame oil because the marinade is very flavorful already and the seasame oil might over power everything.

I live in Orange County so the Place I go to is HMart. It is a Korean Supermarket very similar to 99 Ranch but smaller. I never buy the pre-marinated stuff because sometimes I don't know how long it's been marinating. So I buy the bone in short ribs and marinade. The marinade I go with is called Chungjungwon Kalbi Marinade. Very tasty stuff. It is the pear based marinade.

If you are in the mood for seafood...Rock'N Fish is really good. Most of the entrees are under $25 except for the Surf N Turf and Steaks.
