Restaurant Wedding in Philadelphia - Yummy Food

My gf and I got engaged a few weeks ago and are facing the daunting task of planning a wedding. Neither of us desire a traditional wedding, we would to keep it small and intimate with the cheesiness factor to the absolute lowest point.

We want to get married in Center City, Queens Village, Rittenhouse, you get the idea. We are at the stage in our life where we don't quite 'do' the suburbs.

As we are new to the city we are trying to find restaurants that can accommodate a group of 50-70 people. Ideally we would love to find a restaurant with a pretty garden or outdoor space where we could throw up a tent. We would want to do both the ceremony and the reception at the restaurant.

We are looking for something unique, not a typical venue that churns out two weddings a weekend from May through September.

The quality of food is very important to us. Would be nice if it was BYOB but that is not that important.

PS.... we don't want to get married at the mosulu

Holiday Spluge

My GF and I have decided to forgo expensive gifts this Holiday Season in lieu of an amazing meal. At this point we have come up with a list of potential places but I am interested in your suggestions. Price isn't a huge issue but I think both of us wouldn't be able to justify spending Per Se type money, probably not more than 500 including wine for the two of us. So far we have on our list

Craft
Anthos
Eleven Madison Park
Casa Mono
Sushi Yasuda
Centro Vinoteca
WD-50

We definitely are interested in Tasting Menu's (with the wine pairing of course) Wouldn't want to leave dinner without a buzz. We have already done Degustation, Ko, Babbo. So lets hear some suggestions.

Foodie GF B-Day Coming Up

Any suggestions similar to Degustation in which they serve a tasting menu and allow you to watch the food being prepared?

Don't confuse my not being a foodie with me not willing to eat everything and anything :)

Foodie GF B-Day Coming Up

Hey all, my girlfriends Birthday is coming up and I would like to find the perfect place for dinner. She is kind of a foodie where I am not. I am looking for someplace that will cozy and romantic but definitely not a "scene". Maybe someplace with a tasting menu or tapas. Money isn't a huge concern but we are not talking about a LeBernadin or Per Se type of budget, a wine list that won't kill my wallet would be nice. It is really all about the food. Preferably something in the East or West Village with great service. The type of cuisine doesn't really matter.

I am hosting a bachelor party in N. Myrtle Beach in a couple weeks. I would like to have a big clambake for like 15 guys, looking for a place that will either come over and handle everything or we can pick up or they will deliver. Please help
