Hello. I am looking for some fantastic bbq in Pittsburgh when I travel there next month. Any suggestions would be welcome. Family-friendly places are preferred. Thanks.

Looking for good sushi and dim sum in Victoria

I will be travelling to Victoria for the first time next week for a long weekend. My group is interested in finding some good asian fare as well as seafood. Any suggestions would be welcome. We are staying downtown near the harbour and will be relying on transit or foot to get around. Thanks

Wasaga Beach and Collingwood Recommedations?

I had an awful Bison Burger at Ted's last summer. The fries were good, loved the atmoshere, and I'd likely give it another chance...but my sandwich was dry and completely unsatisfying.

The Spot, Binghamton NY

I will be passing through Binghamton on my way home (from Connecticut to Toronto, Canada), and The Spot has been recommended to me. Are there any "must try" dishes at this place. The breakfasts, burgers, and sandwiches look good, and it seems like there's a nice Greek theme to the menu. Thanks

Diners in Buffalo, NY

I recently came across a bbq restaurant called Fat Bob's. Any input about it's quality, etc, would be greatly appreciated. I checked out the menu online and it looked good...

Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA

Hi. I was there in the fall (late November 09 if memory serves), so I guess that isn't recent enough for your request. We did enjoy the place, fyi, just remember to bring cash! I was sorely disappointed to arrive at a very nice looking restaurant only to see a large "Cash Only" sign. Something you might expect from a dive or really small/take out place, but not in a sit-down, nice establishment. Needless to say my attitude going in was sour because I had to drive to 7 and Leslie just to get some $$$! Once inside and settled, the food was delish. Great selection, fresh fish, some decent hot dishes too. We love hand rolls the most (in general), but some of the maki rolls and sushi/sashimi were also great. My personal favourite for AYCE sushi is My Sushi on Yonge just south of Finch.

Diners in Buffalo, NY

Thanks to your LED recommendation, and through some searching of my own, I realized it was featured on DDD. That's reason enough to make it a priority for this foodie!

Diners in Buffalo, NY

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Actually for wings I think I'll sit one out this time. We were in Buffalo a few months ago and I got my wing fix at Duff's (I prefer it to Anchor Bar, which I've been to once and though it was good but not in the same class as Duff's). I'm sure as with every city, there are places I've never heard of that are less touristy and have better wings. Everyone has given me some good suggestions, now it's a matter of fitting in what I can, there's only so many meals in the day. I hope to get to one of the diners at least.

Probably staying near Walden but I have a car so travelling isn't too much of a concern as long as there's parking

I'll be in Buffalo for the weekend in Feb. Does anyone know of any good diners (for lunch or dinner) in the area that are a must-do. Thanks.

the bbq directory...

Buster Rhino's is worth the drive, even in Friday evening rush hour traffic! Best ribs I've had in the GTA, hands down. The smokier the better!

chicago pizza

Is the Lou Malnati's on North Wells St a good one? That's the area where we'll probably be for lunch. Don't think we'll be able to order a pizza ahead of time, but we don't mind waiting a bit and soaking in the atmosphere either. Can't wait to get my hands on some deep dish za!

Good food option in or around Wrigley Field?

Thanks...is Wrigleyville Dogs supposed to be as good as say Superdawgs or Hot Doug's, or should I wait and go to one of those places instead?

Good food option in or around Wrigley Field?

Are there any recommended places near the ballpark to get a good Chicago hotdog? I know Hot Doug's is a short bus ride away, but if there are any places in Wrigleyville please let me know.

Thanks

New to Chicago, looking for some recommendations (Greek, pizza, etc)

it looks like I'm narrowing my choices to Costa's and Greek islands in the Oakbrook Terrace neighbourhood. We have a little one so it seems like it will be easier to stay near our hotel for dinner. Is one of these restaurants better than the other, or are we likely to get a good meal either way? Thx...

New to Chicago, looking for some recommendations (Greek, pizza, etc)

Thanks...I may look into Costa's, especially if there's a location near where I'm staying. Would I be missing out on a huge Greek vibe by not going to the Halstead area?

Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA

My Sushi is excellent. Great selection, the dragon rolls and spicy salmon hand rolls are our favourite. My wife loves the sushi pizza too. The cooked foods are good but smaller portions. Great friendly service, but make a reservation on weekends as it gets busy and its a small place.

Enjoy! :( )
