Anyone have Bruculinu, America Cookbook??
I am desperate to find the recipe from Bruculinu, America by Vicent Schiavelli for Baked Macaroni!!! I used to have the book, but can't find it anywhere in my house! I have searched the internet and no luck. Its such a fabulous recipe and I was planning on making it tonight to serve for guests tomorrow. I'm in England and can't find it in any bookstores. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has it and wouldn't mind passing it along. It's one of my favorite recipes and I'm lost without it for my dinner guests tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hi La Dolce Vita- Not sure if you will get this since the post is from two years ago, but worth a shot! I am desparate to find the recipe for Baked Macaroni from Bruculinu, America by Vincent Schiavelli!!! I can't find my copy of the book and have managed to find the first and third pages of the recipe on google book preview, but the middle page is gone. Do you still have the book? If so, would you mind helping me fill in the blanks? Many thanks in advance....
Fantastic Restaurants in Rome?
Wow, thank you so much for all of your recommendations!! I'm so excited to get there. If you'll indulge another inquiry- a friend made us reservations at Il Convivio for Saturday night. Has anyone eaten there? It's got some wonderful reviews and some that are less than stellar.
We have also just found out that we are invited to meet friends on a boat down by the marina- I have heard this is a ways out and wonder whether anyone knows any lovely restaurants there for a group of about 10.

Fantastic Restaurants in Rome?
My boyfriend and I are going to Rome for the first weekend in May and would love to find some great restaurants. Has anyone been to La Pergola? I have read good reviews and wonder whether it lives up to the hype! We were considering booking this restaurant for an early dinner after visiting Vatican City so we can enjoy the views during sunset...sound about right?
We are also looking for a great authentic Italian restaurant where we can just eat great pasta in an intimate, less formal setting. We will be there for 3 nights, so welcome any suggestions!

I think I'm taking a cab in unfortunately. Now, with the weather forecast in NYC, I'm worried that I won't even get in on time! :( I think he may just have to order some good takeout for me and heat it up...I guess I'll have to shoot for Sunday for my wonderful meal!

These restaurants sound fabulous. I am of the same mindset as Nyleve and would love to find more authentic places, but I'll add a twist- Mykonos? We'll be staying in a villa there the last week in August. Any tips would be great!

culinary treats for a visitor in sf?
I am visiting SF next weekend. I would love to find a) a great, authentic mexican restaurant with good fun atmosphere and b) a great italian restaurant that is cozy, casual with the food as a priority- I love Lupa in NYC- something like that would be ideal- I have heard about Venticello- is that a good place to eat? I would also love to get tips on good sushi. I am considering a move to San Francisco and I want to check out the places that are a little more hidden to tourists instead of the trendy restaurants a hotel might recommend. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!
