Where should I go for my Birthday?

Ok. I am really unmotivated to do anything for my 23rd birthday but I feel like I have to do something. So I guess I will settle for low key.

I live on Pico and Beverly Dr so I am looking for a cool laid-back dive-bar type place nearby.
Not too expensive and NOT too trendy. Somewhere like St Nicks or The Backstage but maybe a little closer to my home?? Also, would like a place with good food.

Good beer selection, good food, no lines or cover.

Any suggestions?????

trendy but not too expensive

Hi All,

I am looking for a restaurant between Santa Monica and Beverly Hills that is sort of LA and would be good for two teenage girls. Not too expensive. It doesn't have to be brand new or overly trendy but kind of LA, if you know what I mean. I don't think they like sushi though.. any thoughts??
