Bahn Mi in Cote-Des-Neiges

Where can I find Bahn Mi around Universite de Montreal and Cote-des-Neiges? I know there are tons of Vietnamese restaurants there but I don't know if any have Bahn Mi.

waffles! gauffres!

Where oh where can i find delicious waffles in montreal? i'm not looking for anything authentic but i am definitely looking for something delicious and full of flavour. i can't tell you how many times i have ordered waffles only to receive something pallid, lukewarm and utterly tasteless the waffles didn't even have the decency to be overly-sweet, another common problem (though one i mind less than the others because at least it is some kind of flavour).

The waffles of my dreams are crispy on the outside, meltingly deliciously warm on the inside and flavourful.

Please help me find some good waffles. I'd make my own but a waffle maker is not something i can deal with right now.

Oh and by the way, because I am as picky as picky can be, no buckwheat or whole wheat suggestions please.

Vietnamese Cooking Classes

Does anyone know where one can take a vietnamese cooking class in Montreal? i just love vietnamese food so much and would love to be able to cook at home. Actually, would anyone be willing to teach me how to make vietnamese food?

Burrata

Does anyone know where I can find burrata in Montreal? I've checked out a couple of places but so far my search has been fruitless, or cheeseless rather. I'm really interested in trying this cheese so if anyone has any helpful as to where I could find some that would be just swell.

Sour Red Cherries

Hi

I need to find sour red cherries for cherry pie. They are bright red and I know that they can be grown in Quebec but I have so far been unable to find them. All I have found so far are those dark bing cherries that are too sweet for cherry pie and the yellow cherries that i dont like all that much. I havent checked Jean-Talon Market yet for the sour red cherries so if someone has seen them there please let me know. Or of any other cherry varieties available in Montreal that would work well in cherry pie.

Thank you!
