Best Scones in the Twin Cities Metro
Looks like we'll have to add a few and extend the "review". This morning we tried Rustica - on a scale of 1-5, we gave it a 5 for appearance, 4 for texture - great texture, but just a 3 on taste, seemed to lack a lot of flavor, but still a good scone. YUM is still at the top. We're going to Moose & Sadie's and Colossal Cafe as well, and will now add Swede Hollow and Birchwood - we could be eating scones forever - DARN! We'll report back!

AWESOME! Thanks everyone - we'll add those to the list and let you know what we think - we do it on Thursdays only, so may take a couple weeks to get through the recommendations, excited to try Cafe Patteen!

My co-workers and I are doing our own little Scone Review in search of the best scones in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. So far we've tried YUM!, Turtle Bread Co., and Bread & Chocolate/Cafe Latte. Each scone is rated on Taste, Texture, Appearance, Likely to Recommend, and Overall Value/Experience. Right now, the maple/pecan scone at YUM! is at the top, but we'd love to know if anyone else has recommendations to add to our bakery list. Thanks!
