Code Red! Is it gone from your stores, too? I can't get singles, 8 packs, 12 packs,
2 liter bottles.....nothing. :(

Right on, Kelli. I agree with you on that, and I've never found anyone yet that agrees with us, LOL! MSG has it's uses. I've actually not ordered at chinese places before because of reading "we do not use MSG".

I can't figure out why anyone would order their food online and then go to the place after doing so. I mean, the thought of it blows my mind. I feel like it's the end of the world!
I don't go to Five Guys, where THEY tell YOU how you want your burger (well done) and I also don't go to a burger place that doesn't give you fries with your burger (Cheeburger) - unless we're talking McDonalds, but even there I can get a good deal on my burger, complete with fries and a drink.

To be honest about it, I read the quoted words above and I was surprised at how low the price was for all that you got. I thought it would cost another hundred dollars....
I like the Melting Pot very much....it's fun and different, and I really love the food. :-)

It seems to me that once in a great while (!!!) Burger King decides to have the Italian Chicken sandwich available, then they pull it off the menu before long. It stops me from going to Burger King because I never know if they have it or not.

I really miss that Italian Chicken sandwich at Burger King, too. It was priced too high for what you get, but like you I bought them and had to have them!
Why they don't have them, I don't know.

After a few family tragedies in the last 2 months it pretty well shocks me that people would be wanting to go out and drink alcohol and party loud. Perfect recipe for another tragedy, in my opinion.
Oh, I know how people react when I say things like this, so I expect to get slammed for it, but it remains the truth despite any denial and argument you can reply with.

Used to get them for $3.99 a pound, about 25 years ago. Used to put bunches of them on a sheet of foil, with butter and garlic, then ball it up and throw it on the grill. Then you drink beers. Then some more beers. Then you'd take 'em off the grill and they were delicious. The ones towards the outside of the ball were cooked kind of well and their shells got blackened...the ones towards the inside of the ball were cooked nice and light. I liked the blackened ones because the shells got all nice and tasty :-) Hey, they were great with all them beers! :-)

I've never seen the bad stuff you describe anywhere around here in the Lake Worth area. There's nothing "Brooklyn" about it, you just must have gone to the worst Chinese places around. Since I am not at all familiar with your area I can't be of much help, but I'm sure you'll get a lot of help from everyone down your way!
By the way, the "peas and carrots" thing, in the fried rice, makes me pretty darn mad. (!!!!!) What a sin!

Worst, cold doughy "bagels" we've ever had. No excuse for that.

Very true, ChefBoyAreMe! Also, if you go back to the link provided in Scott_R's post above you will notice the "comments" there, which indicate that most everyone loves the corn grilled inside it's husk (as we do here where I live.)
Nothing right or wrong about the way you cook anything - however someone likes their food is the right way for them! :-)

Down here in Palm Beach county, Florida it's available everywhere....I'm really surprised that it's not everywhere up there.....I'm from Long Island and I guess I never really thought about it. Gotta LOVE some fried chicken! :-)
