I'm searching for the most amazing cup of coffee in Queens. I don't mind travelling if it's worth it. Any tips?

I'm seaching for the best & freshest bagel in Queens. I've read about a lot of places that have good or decent bagels, but haven't found many posts about bagels that people LOVE. My personal favorite is Ess A Bagel in Manhattan because of their freshness and doughiness to crispness ratio. Any suggestions would be great!

I am going to Croatia in August and would love some great recommendations. We will be in Dubrovnik (and islands nearby), maybe Split/Trojir, near Plitvice, near Krka and possibly Istria. We don't want anything too expensive and we will have a car so more remote ideas would be okay. Any suggestions would be great!
