Anything around the Camargue - Saintes Maries de la Mer?

Just took your great advice and went to Les Tellines. SO GOOD! I highly recommend it. We had a bottle of a local white wine from Domaine Saint Vincent which was affordable and lovely

Picked up also a very handy little guide called Grand Sud des Cuisines http://www.grandsudcuisine.fr/ that tells u about great places in the region and in Les Alpilles which I have never heard of!

thai cooking class [London]

Ages ago i saw something on gumtree - a post of a thai lady willing to teach you home thai cooking in her house in east london. She takes you to the thai supermarket first to show you what things are and then cooks a couple of things at her house. Does anyone know iof anything like this? I'd really like to go do something like this...

dinner for 30 [London]

Hi guys - i need to arrange a dinner in London for 30 people. I have unlimited budget (as its a work thing). The area is not so important if the venue is correct. We are looking for something cool, unusual maybe. Nothing gimmicky or too flashy/trashy.
Ideas we have bounded about so far have been Hix, Petersham Nurseries, Boca Di Lupo, Petit Maison, St Johns. Any thing else I should be looking at?

Canton Arms [London]

Has anyone been down to the Canton Arms in Stockwell/Oval ? I was passing the other day and didnt know it has re-opened, then i read that review on doshermanos and decided to swing by for a drink. I've been back twice now for the foie gras toastie at the bar and fish pie in the dining room. Blown away! Thank GOD we finally got a good pub with good grub in the area. Anyone else been? same people as anchor and hope in waterloo i think?

Borough Market is a must! Go early on a Saturday Morning before it gets too busy!. Take a walk down Columbia flower market, then onto Brick lane. From there walk up to Spitalfields then a lazy lunch in st John Bread and Wine!.

Vietnamese places on Kingsland Road, Hackney, London

hi Limster. Last week i went to the restaurant on Kingsland road wth bright green walls and Lobsters as decorations (sounds hideous but it was great - i forgot the name though). I dont know much about vietnamese food and want to explore a little more tomorrow night at a different place on Kingsland road. What do you reccommend?

TASTE LONDON

I know some of you may think its a riduculous waste of money - but i love this little festival in Regents Park.
Does anyone have any discount codes for the tickets this year? Found some on the BA website - but any other leads?

London - please help with my list

You could do borough market on Saturday and then go for a lazy lunch at st johns bread and wine ( close to brick lane and Spitalfields market also for a good rummage on a sunday).
Sheekys is good but Scotts is better (pricey). Great Queen st, Anchor and Hope, Barrafina in soho, Bocca di Lupo in soho also.
For their special inner maybe Lindsay House or River Cafe? or Pied a Terre?

Galvin Bistrot de Luxe, Marybone, London

This is the one on Baker street? If so I had a wonderful meal there just a couple of months ago. I had garlic snails to start and a terrine for main (wasnt super hungry) and my boyfriend had the pork belly. Everything was really tasty and well cooked. the service was also really great

Barcelona at Easter

I am thinking of arranging my Easter holiday in Barcelona with Sibings and father. I have been reading so many posts with wonderful reviews and was wondering if i am on the right track. I wish to do one expensive "fusion" night - and the rest traditional, seafood, paella, tapas etc. My dad is hitting 70 so no stand up tapas bars. Please also can anyone tell me a good area to atay in and also a good hotel (3/4 star).
Which of these should i chose? ( $ nights and 5 days to work with)

Cherif - Paella
Can Ros - Paella
Casa Venezia - Paella
El Ventorillo Murciano - Paella
Cinc Sentis - posh upmarket ( v highly reccommended)
Alkima (same as above)
Cerveseria Catelana - tapas with tables
Asador Tierra Aranda - suckling lamb
El Vaso de Oro - tapas
Paco Meralgo - www.pacomeralgo.com/ - tapas
Restaurant San Joan - home cattalan cooking (only lunch
)Cal Pep - maybe too many tourists
Can Fabes -http://www.canfabes.com/ - posh
Comerc24 - upmarket tapas
