Costco Food Finds - 1st QTR 2011 - Old From the Houston: Galleria (Richmond) location: I was really pleased that Costco started carrying Chobani Champions yogurt for kids. It's made with 2% milk, so it's not fat-free. I wish they carried the plain Fage in whole or 2%, as well. Unfortunately, I got a mixed-verdict from the daughter on the Champions yogurt: she likes the berry but not the banana-honey. (And in fairness, I tried it too, and it was really bland. Maybe if you added bananas and honey...) And, though I realize I may be run out of Chowhound for saying it, I'm REALLY pleased with the Trident Seafoods Ultimate Fish Stick. Far less breading than regular fish sticks, and made from fillets, not minced fish. They're so good, my husband and I will even eat them. They've been around since sometime last year. I'm also consistently amazed at how long the Earthbound Organics Spring Mix will last in the fridge. |
