Thanks, I'll look into your suggestions! Crowd is predominantly 50+. I work for a financial services company headquartered on the west coast and we're coming to the northeast (which we do all too infrequently) to entertain and thank some of our larger individual clients. All have considerable wealth and, I suspect, receive similar offers from other investment firms throughout the year. Looking for a place with great food, nice ambiance, a fantastic wine list, and the reputation to draw our clients in.

I'm planning a client event in early August and am targeting Nassau County as the location. As I live in Milwaukee, I don't know the restaurant scene there well enough to even begin the search. Guest list will be about 30, price is not necessarily a major factor, would like a venue where we can utilize a private room or buy out the entire restaurant, and need a great local place with a solid reputation.
