3 days into our vacation and my indian husband decided he could not survive another minute without an Indian meal. I warned him that he was likely to be disappointed. He insisted. We ordered take away from flavour of india as it was convenient to us. Sadly it turned out to be flavourless of India. There was much sighing and Bally-hooing. Followed by some not so subtle I-told-you-so-ing. However, I hear there is a Sri lankan food truck? Anyone know of such a thing.? |

Christmas Dinner - Sunny Isles/Miami Hello. We will be at Le Meridian Sunny Isles over Christmas. Can anyone suggest a good place to get a turkey dinner on the big day? |

Well, we have returned from Rosemont & I thought I should report back. We tried Flamingo's on our first night and had a fantastic meal...my DH is still talking about it. I think he has been dreaming about the salsa. The second night we ate at the hotel (Hyatt Rosemont) and although it was late, we were tired and in a hurry, we had a decent burger that certainly exceeded my expectations. For lunches, we tried Udupi Palace for dosa (delish) and NoMI. Overall, a great trip. Thanks for all the recommendations - we look forward to returning next year. |

My DH is attending a conference in Rosemount in October. Where does one eat? We will have a vehicle, however he will be spending 12 or more hours per day in meetings and so we likely won't go too far. |

Hello all....we (that would be me & the DH) will be spending 2 weeks in Florida over the holidays. At this point it looks like our time will be pretty much equally split between the keys and Miami. I'm looking for all kinds of suggestions as we're generally open to most anything...from 5 star to greasy spoon. So, let's have it....your very favorite Miami and the Keys spots. |

I used to use him @ work. I assume they continue to use him, I am no longer working there. He was certainly capable of taking care of the blades that took a beating in an institutional kitchen.....blades that were routinely subjected to a commercial dishwasher, an inhospitable knife drawer and the kind of wear and tear that comes from constant use. As for my personal knives, I take care of them myself. My suggestion, try one and see. Be aware, he is a former Knifex franchisee. |

Where to find good Indian food in Edmonton? Another vote here for Masalaz/Caribbean Menu. Definitely don't go for the atmosphere, but mmmmm the food. Will have to try Savoy..... thanks for the recommendation. |
