I have eaten an uncountable amount of great meals in my life and so it would be impossible for me to answer this question. The meals my French mother prepared nightly were unforgetable as were the various flavors I have experienced in my many travels and residences in various parts of the world. Lately, my husband and I have been concentrating our gastronomical experiences on the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. We visit restaurants and videotape ourselves eating and commenting and then post it on our website to help expose the Berkshires to the rest of the world. My favorite meals will probably change often as they are replaced and my memory fades. But in our most recent memory, one of our recent favorite meals took place at the now non-existent Spice Restaurant in Pittsfield. Another favorite was a recent meal at Sabor where the flavors were fabulous. Helsinki in Great Barrington was also a recent favorite. Last week-end we had great meals at Jae's Spice in Pittsfield and Jonathan's Bistro in Lenox.
My current drink of choice:
My daily drink is the smoothy I make in the morning for breakfast. It consists of one banana, some frozen wild blueberries, some frozen cherries, some orange juice, and some fat free plain yogurt with cultures. In the evening, with a good meal, there is nothing like a nice glass of red wine; a French Burgundy or Cabernet, or a Sonoma County Zinfandel are some of my favorites
