Parts are nice, especially Lake Balboa, as another person pointed out.
Restaurants:
Salsa and Beer: was Papas and Beer. Good cheap Mexican food.
Las Fuentes - really good Mexican food, also cheap.
Vinh Loi Tofu (sorry, it's actually in Reseda, but I'm pluggin' it anyway)
Morazan - really great pan con pollo and pupusas
Sam Woo's - everything I've had here is delicious. Singapore noodles are good.
El Gallo Giro - I seem to remember the carnitas being good here. Tortas were a little dry when I went last. Good bread.
Adrian's Trattoria - everything we've had is good so far, nice people.
