Food and Wine Festival Events

Hubby and Have done The Taste Of Austin it is not a big grand foodie event but it is a lot of fun. We also have done a few smaller wine festivals in Texas wine country. Yes, Texas has a pretty good wine culture. In fact it was Texas that saved France during the great flux of something something by sending cuttings of flux resistant vines...annnnnyway. A Texas wine festival can be a blast.

Celebrity Cookbooks, do you own any?

I have a cook book put together by wives of Indy 500 drivers does that count? They did it for charity.
I also have a wierd collection of cookbooks by former Miss Ameircas. I have no idea why.

Tree House???

Thank you all for the advice... Against our advice the company selected Tree House because "it sounded cool" and with two preteen girls in tow we figured what the heck..
You guys were right on target. The place was "cool" but ..
1. the kids soda was flat
2. they were out od ceaser salad?
3. the juliet sauce tasted like jarred Alfredo sauce
4. antipasta plater??? just sad
service was sweet and kind but not enough
The kids loved the food ..probally because it tastes like the canned stuff their mom gives them..
Thanks for all your help. I will never listen to guests over you guys again :)
