Antico Ravioli Company (Meriden, CT)

Glad to hear this. We live nearby and the place has been closed for what seemed like ages.

Little Rendezvous, Meriden CT

We live fairly close to LR and while it's better than the others in the immediate vicinity, any of the NH establishments still have it beat (haven't been to Roseland). We had high hopes when we ordered and were less than thrilled. We ordered a one ingredient pie, but not extra crispy. Dough was thicker than anything we've had in NH, and uneven -- noticeably thinner in some sections and thicker in others.

Maybe it was too much anticipation, and we'll probably give it another chance or two , but it wasn't worthy of such a rave based on my experience.

Best Bagels in Ct?

Find a place that offers NYC bagels brought in! I know a deli in Htd used to have H&H brought in, as does Perk on Main in Durham.

Alternatively, my top choices are either Upper Crust in Darien area or LizSue in Stamford.

Copper Beach Inn & Environs-one more time

Although it's been about 2 years, Copper Beech (the Inn dining room, not the casual part) was very good on our last visit & definitely special anniversary worthy (we were there for a birthday dinner). Seating is comfortable, service was good too.

I think the rest of the advice you got on the clams is what I would've said as well.

Seafood in Vegas

I saw an article on this on another food site. It's definitely fresh, much kept live and the photos of the seafood tanks at Wynn were astounding actually. Each of the cases is tracked with a microchip during transit.

Seafood in Vegas

We're from New England and have enjoyed SeaBlue at MGM on several occasions. Not sure if you'll get actual east coast selections, but it should satisfy your seafood "fix."

Also, I have not yet been, but I have heard the same rave reviews about Bartolotta and it's on my "get to" list for LV.

In need of a great Sauvignon Blanc or similar wine available in New England.

Ditto the votes for Nobilo & Kim Crawford. My SB go-tos.

Las Vegas - Recs for wide-range of tastes

If you're interested in seafood, in that price range, I'd suggest SeaBlue, Michael Mina's place at MGM. We've enjoyed it several times.
