Any good meat purveyors or butcher shops east oklahoma area

Good Day,

I recently relocated to Newalla Oklahoma about 20 miles east of Oklahoma city off I-40. Halfway between OKC and Shawnee. I am having trouble locating a good butcher in the area. I know of some good ones on the west side of town but was hoping for something closer. I do like to support local farms if possible.

Thanks
Chad

Sonoma county for 3 days

I am visiting sonoma county June 14-17 and am looking for restaurant recommendations for the area. Since it is such a short stay we plan on focusing on just sonoma county. We are staying at the Marriott Lodge in Sonoma. My initial research has revealed Bovolo, the Girl and the Fig and Willi's seafood and wine bar. Any good Mexican would be great, all I get in Albuquerque is New Mexican which is great in its own right. Anything from cheap eats to expensive. We plan on hitting about 3 wineries a day.

Thanks
Chad

San Antonio 2nd week of Feb. 2009

I grew up in San Antonio but now live in New Mexico. My brother recently moved back to SA and I am planning my visit. Have not been back in 15 years. I was looking for dining suggestions in the downtown and northern areas. I remember Tom's Ribs as a kid!! Any recommendations are appreciated. La fogata still a must? Great breakfast, fine dining and everything in between.
Thanks for the help

Loveland, Fort Collins, Rocky Mountain NP and area

I have seen the posts on this area and was wondering if there is anything new. I went to open table and found the Canyon Chop House and Chimney Park but saw no posts on those here. Anyone have any info or recommendations on these. I am visiting next weekend.

Thanks
Chad

Newport Seafood and Wine Festival

I will be in Newport Oregon for the seafood and wine festival at the end of Feb. and then traveling to Manzanita for a few days. Always on the look out for good food, price and atmosphere don't matter. High end to low end. Sounds like Sharks and Nehalem Inn are good choices according to the boards. Will these places be open in February? Any other places I should consider and that are open in February? I prefer locally sourced food when possible.

Thanks

Mexican in Denver

Thanks for all the help. I have my list and will be making the rounds. Bummer about Cafe Star. I am starting culinary school at Johnson and Wales Denver (career change) and was maybe hoping to work one night a week there since I was so impressed by the food.

Mexican in Denver

So I have just moved here (Denver) from Albuquerque and wow do I miss good new mexican food. I know I am probably out of luck on new mexican but any recs for good mexican or latin style cuisine. I have tried Mezcal and was very underwhelmed. I have heard good things about Limon but have not tried it yet. I live in the city park neighborhood. Thanks for the help. Buy the way if you have not been to cafe star on colfax it is a definite must.

Give Las Vegas its own board

Las Vegas is such an active topic on the Southwest board that I feel it deserves its own space.

Thanks

Denver this Monday and Tuesday

I will be staying at the Ramada downtown at Colfax and Downing October 23 and 24. Any good eats in the area for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Any cuisine any price. If you can keep it within walking distance up to three miles that would be great. Thanks for your help.

good eats in San Luis or Questa?

El Seville is closed also I believe. If you go down the road to Red River there is a small deli place that is quite good on the right side. Just a few miles, if that, down the road.
