Steakhouses In Los Angeles County near the beach
how about the bullpen in redondo, steakhouse and semi near a beach or Tony's on the pier
Pepe's NY Pizza or other thin-crust in Studio City area
Good pizza But i prefer ordering in vs. delivery, those couple of minutes in the car make a difference. I'm Not down with just warm pizza. The large pizza is the size of a table and the crust is nice and thin.

Far from helathy, tasty, fresh or good. If you consider an asian chicken noodle special kept warm under heat lamps healthy, then yes it's healthy.

Something open air would be nice. I'm sure there's plenty of places with nightly entertainment but I'd really like to see a real mariachi dinner show.

thanks for the help, Ma Come No is No more. It's has a new name and was closed when we tried to go.
We did find a very nice place called el sacromonte, very nice, well presented Mexican gourmet in the Chapalita area not too far from the expo area.

I'm in town for work and I have free time Sunday for dinner, I'll be alone so I would prefer a restaurant that has a bar area I could enjoy a "nice and no rush" dinner, a nice wine list is always a plus.

group dinner in Healdsburg, anyone anyone???
Hi All
a group of old high school buddies and wife's are headed north to Santa Rosa and Healdsburg next week for a wedding.
We're going to meet the wedding rehearsal party at a place called john and Zeke's for drinks.
Is there a place nearby for a group dinner for a bunch of 37/38 year olds, not too $$$ but fun enough for an old group of friends and wife's Sans kids???

ISO Santa Barbara California Pepper Taco Sauce in Los Angeles.
I had the best taco sauce hands down at my disposal when I lived in Santa Barbara.
I haven't been able to find the same taco suace here in LA, from Downtown, to Santa Monica to Studio city.
I can only find Santa Barbara salsa which is nice but not the same thing.
it's in a bottle unlike the salsa which comes in a jar.

Plate lunch near OGG airport???
BA-LE in Kahului is maybe 15 minutes from OGG; vietnamese sandwich's and plate lunch. They have amazing egg rolls too. I was just there last week I had the bbq chicken plate lunch and my wife had one of the sandwiches.
Awesome vietnamese spin on the mac salad too.

Give up on Studio City/Ventura?? a few good spots
100% dead on about the limp earth, how is that place still open. I just tried the studio cafe for the 1st time for breakfast, nice surprise, I've been back 3 times.

I just tried Caioti for the 1st and last time, maybe it was a bad night but the pizza was really bland and the sauce was almost bitter, thank god for vitello's.

Hi all-
LA Chow here looking for a place with ambiance and quality food to take my wife this Friday night.
We should be settled in and ready around 9:45pm and would love to hear some recommendations for a 10pm dinner in walking distance.
We'll be staying at the St. Francis.
Food wise anything goes, Asian, Italian, Steaks but keeping within a $$ budget would be cool too.
Simple sometimes is always the best.
