College Student visiting New Orleans during Christmas/New Years

I can't wait to try all of these great places in a few weeks!! I have one more question. What would be a nice place for New Years Eve? My parents and boyfriend will be joining me in New Orleans and we were wanting to have a nice dinner for about $50/person. Let me know if you have any suggestions!! Thank y'all!

College Student visiting New Orleans during Christmas/New Years

I am planning on coming to visit New Orleans the day after Christmas until New Years. I am still a student, so I do not have tons of money to spend on food. I would prefer something that costs around $20/person or less. I have family that lives in the New Orleans area, but I have not been able to visit for a long period of time since I was very young. I am going to spend a few days with family in Metarie, and a few days at a hotel in the French Quarter area. I want to try good NOLA food. No Mexican, Chinese, or anything like that. Southern food, burgers, pizza, cajun, po boys--things like that. Also, I would be willing to spend more for a nice dinner at least once during my stay. Thank you for any suggestions!!

[DFW] Dog Friendly Sunday Brunch

I am looking for a place in the DFW area that has a great, reasonably priced brunch. I would like it to have a patio and be dog-friendly. I was thinking about Blue Mesa, but was not sure if any of their locations allowed pets. Any suggestions?

Moving to Richardson/Dallas area, looking for good, local food

I am not a picky eater at all. I am actually wanting to try more ethnic food. I live in College Station right now and there aren't that many choices for good food ( there are a LOT of chain restaurants, which I am not crazy about). I would love to try some good Indian, Greek, Middleastern, etc. I love Asian food too.

Moving to Richardson/Dallas area, looking for good, local food

I'm moving to Richardson for an internship from August to January. I have never really been in the Dallas area before, so I am looking for places to eat over the next few months. I would prefer more local venues with maybe a lower price tag. I also like restaurants that have FRESH food. Restaurants in Richardson, Dallas, or surrounding areas would be great! Thank you for the help and I cant wait to try all of the suggestions!
