Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay for sure!
The only bummer is that they do not take reservations for the outside area, and it's often very crowded.
Good food - delicious lobster rolls, fantastic grilled mahi sandwich.

Thanks, yes, perhaps I was not specific enough. I'm just looking for a really good restaurant that is different than a standard Ruth's Chris or something. We all love good food, but would say we are on the safer side of cuisine... nice steaks, good seafood, etc...

As a few people mentioned... Half Moon Bay (a ltitle bit of a drive, but a beautiful one) has THE BEST fish tacos at Flying Fish grill.
Yum Yum Yum - mahi mahi with mango salsa. Never had a bad one. Cheap and delicious!

Marinating chicken in a vinegar based dressing for how long?
I recently heard that one should not marinate chicken in a vinegar-based dressing (I usually use Annie's Goddess dressing) for longer than 1/2 hour. I can't remember why. Does anyone know? What's up?
