Meatball sand. prepared in a sort of pizza crust. Actually all the food here is great !

If your thinking brew pub. You might look at Heroes in fullerton. Although they don't brew there, they do have around 50 beers on tap. Fun environment, with above average bar food and huge portions. Splitting is the way to go.
Can you eat anything at Angels Stadium
1st base side upper deck, has a very good sausage cart. Italians and brauts. They are 7 or 8 bucks. They will put the goods on them as well (spicy mustard, grilled onions and peppers as well as sour kraut) best deal in the stadium. Imo.
Texas-style BBQ brisket in OC?
If your favorite texas joints include rudy's or saltgrass you would probably be ok with Blakes or Beach pit. On the other hand if Texas bbq means City market, Coopers or any of the joints in Lockhart, your best bet is...............Jet Blue airlines direct into Austin.
Road trip: Austin, college station and Waco
We will be floating around this area for an entire Saturday. Just doing some sight seeing and general wandering. Looking for ideas for break., lunch and dinner. Nothing to fancy, just good. Any good rec's.

Tell me it ain't so. Got wind of a rumor that the infamous herd's burgers (a 90 yr old institution) has closed. Can anyone in the Jacksboro area confirm or put this rumor to rest?
Big B's BBQ- Fullerton
I'm really a fan of B's and Brians. I have had most of the bbq (ribs, chx, and sandwiches) while sitting in brians with a brew and a ballgame. Imo the burgers are a real find here, nothing exotic but super flavorful.

Next time give Sushi Momo a shot. East side of Harbor between chapman and commonwealth. I am by no means a Sushi pro, but I think you would enjoy it ! Nicely done sushi and some tasty original stuff. The wife and I can usually get out of there for $50-$75 depending on drinks. The albacore boat is a personal favorite !

I am not positive but I think off campus is closed. My rec of brians was based upon arsoisaen's request to stay away from a bar/rest. Brians is definetly not a bar/rest, but a true sports bar.

How about Brians bar. It's in the shopping center on the ne corner of placentia ave. and yorba linda blvd. Good place for sporting events, reasonably priced drinks and above average bar food. It is beer and wine only if that matters.
Breakfast in Brea, Diamond Bar or Walnut?
Kimmie's coffee cup on brea blvd between bastanchury and imperial is a quality breakfast spot. Nothing to fancy, but real good eats.
Chili in Orange County?
Just saw a new place on harbor and chapman, in fullerton, called outlaw's bbq and chilli. I think it has been open only a couple weeks. Maybe you can try it and report back. Good luck.

OCAnn, I dig the sausage patty at Kimmies. The gravy is slightly bland, But all in all a really good breakfast. Come on Kimmies put some love in that gravy.

Not yet. The new location is going to be on harbor between amerige and wilshire. Drove by yesterday, no work happening. I would think they are still a couple months away.

Lampasas Eats Good & Not So Good...
I have never been to Eve's, but your review of giovanni's and the goose ( don't bother with the sea food either) are on par with mine. Next time in town try Brad's burgers on 7th st. across from the HEB. It's a drive thru joint with awesome griddle fried hand formed burgers.
