Whole fresh picnic ham.

Thanks. I went with 300f for 4 hours, until it was 160 internal temp. Then 450f at he end for 15 min to crisp the skin. I used an adobo seasoning that I made. It was delicious!! Served with black beans and rice and fresh mango.

Whole fresh picnic ham.

I have not cooked a fresh ham before. I'm thinking, Cuban style seasoning. Any thoughts?

Suggestions for Pan Searing Scallops?

Make sure to dry them off before searing, so they will caramelize on the out side. Only sear to medium. Very tasty! I season after cooking.

Manhattan

Crown Royal is my whiskey of choice. 2 parts to 1 part freshly opened Martini & Rossi Russo, 3 dashes Angostura Bitters and shaken well, strained into a chilled glass. Cherry for show, but never eaten.
But a burnt orange peel when available is delish!!

Disney - Help!

Try "The Big River Brewery and Grill ", at the Boardwalk. It has nice outdoor dining, serving lunch and dinner.
"Beaches and Cream" at The Yacht & Beach Clubs has great burgers!! They are open 11-11.
For pasta try 'Spoodles!!' also on The Boardwalk.
BTW,
The weather's; going to be fabulous this week
