must eat in Old Town Pasadena tonight. Help
i would definetly go to 21 choices frozen yogurt for dessert. the flavors are always creative and fresh and i love the toppings. the kids will love being able to chose their own toppings and everyone will be happy.
Cookie Cake in LA
sadly that is the only place i have seen the delicious cookie cake, but some deli's like NAte n' Nals have very large chocolate chip cookies for a very good price if you don't mind decorating.
Anaheim and Venice Beach
if you are looking for something cute on the beach that still has excellent food i suggest this restaurant literally on the sand called back on the beach. Unfortunately i don't know the address, but i am sure if you look it up on google you will find it. It is located right along the PCH and it is right next to the bike path. While you eat your dinner or lunch, they also have a fantastic brunch, i suggest the home fries, you can put out your feet in the sand and relax. They have excellent lobster and fries and have great quesadillas with big pieces of lobster as well. its a great place if you are willing to go for the drive or in your case metro.
going to Jiraffe. Any advice?
i know exactly what you mean. I hate when restuarants chefs or owners treat people sitting right next to you like they are something special and then treat you like chop liver, though it is really minor. The best amuse i have ever had were at craft in century city. they gave us delicious and refreshing amuses after every course and when we left they gave us each a free carrot cake on our way out. it was lovely and i highly recommend it!
going to Jiraffe. Any advice?
i am going tommorrow night for dinner and am super excited. the organic sun dried tomato goat cheese tart looks amazing. i wanted to know if anyone has any do's or don'ts for me before i go. Thank you!
Zankou Hollywood closed? If so when?
i went their on sunday night and before hand i looked on the website for the location and couldn't find it! it was a pain in the butt! i didn;t love the hummus and the chicken kabbas weren't that amazing. honestly, not that amazing.
Fav. mediocre eats (inspired by bianca pizza thread)
My mom hates chain restaurants with a passion. mediocre is her favorite word, but i don;t agree with her. here are a couple of my favortie spots
Marie calenders has amazing cornbread!
Despite the unanimously hate for cheesecake factory i love it! the bread is great and the sweet corn tamale appetizers melt in your mouth! and the factory mudslide with a fudge slice of cake with four scoops of ice cream hot fudge, nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry.
another one i love is koo koo roo, the food is relatively healthy and cheap and delicious!

Best Pizza in Silverlake
we went to the new restaurant andiamos and the food is delicious! the plates and silverware are all biodegradable, the staff is very laid back and comforting and the food is simple, but amazing. i don't love the bruschetta, but the pizzas are reasonably sized and are bursts of flavor. Also i believe everything is organic and the prices are amazing. plus, they deliever, but i haven't had a chance to order from them yet. and the owner is a four star chef who decided to open a pizza joint.
dessert anyone?
do you have any good suggestions for dessert in hollywood besides the alcove on hillhurst, we go there almost once a month. the sees candy fudge chocolate cake is huge and amazing!
Looking for a place on Beverly for dinner with friends thats delicious and not to costly.
yeah. i have seen that place, but never gone in. are the fish tacos in a variety of different styles? how is the price? that actually sounds like an amazing idea! refreshing fish before a complete blow out at milk. thanks
First visit to San Diego! Where to eat?!
yes, it is amazing. go to food network.com and look it up. i know i usually hate diners but this is great, plus the feel of the place is amazing and is a blast from the past. don't judge by a name.
kid friendly restarants
wow. this place seems amazing. do the touch screens and video games come with the meal or are they extra? and is there somewhat "adult" food to or is it mainly kid foods. like burgers, fries, and spagetti?
kid friendly restarants
am looking for restaurants that are kid friendly, don't grunt at you when they see you have brought little ones, possibly provide kids menu's and make it easy to provide for children, toddlers, and babys. I would like them to be on the cheaper side, and would also try to stay on the healthier /organic side.
First visit to San Diego! Where to eat?!
this is embarassing, but i can't remember the name of the restaruant i went to but it is a diner, and it was featured on the food network show, dinner, drive-ins , and dives, and if you go on the website you will find it. I think it is called studio diner. yep that is it i jst remembered. well, yes that isi th place, amazing atmosphere and all the food is amazing, you can even watch clips of the restaurants on food network because they filmed there. the milkshakes are amazing and the mac & cheese, crab cakes, shrimp quesadillas, and all the hamburgers are awesome. plus, the experience is worth it for sure.
Biscuits, Biscuits, La la la!
No. john o'groats is the absolute best. for sure. they serve them with delicious raspberry and apricot preserves and the butter melts in your mouth like heaven. Plus, they have pretty good pancakes and overall breakfast, so you won't miss out on the amazing griddle pancakes. There is a wait on busy mornings, but if you eat at th griddle i am sure you are used to that. if you do find another place with grerat biscuits, please write me because soft butter biscuits are my favorite! with butter of course!

Looking for a place on Beverly for dinner with friends thats delicious and not to costly.
Looking for somewhere on Beverly i can get a delicious, not super expensive meal. we are going to MILK the ice cream place afterwards.
craft
i went a couple weeks ago and everything was amazing! I would have to say my absolute favorite was the truffle risotto! it was so rich and creamy! the sweet potatoe with homemade marshmellow was ok, but the desserts were great! I wish i got the red velvet cake the people next to us had. it looked delicious! Also, the roasted chicken was so moist! I love that restaurant! the best part was TOM COLichio and his wife came in and sat right next to us! Yeah, the best day ever!
Tacos in LA?
I am a true mexican food lover and is you are looking for great tacos and burritos go to yucas on hillhurst, it is located in a little shack and is really authentic and delicious! I love the carne asada and they have great salsas! Another great mexican place is Mexico city located on the same block. Also, i have never been, but have heard a lot of great reviews and talk about Titos tacos.
