food in Collingwood/Blue Mountain/Barrie
With the ski season approaching, I just wanted to revisit the topic of decent food in the area. Anyone find any good choices besides the restaurants at the base? Anything good in Barrie other than the fast food? After a day on the slopes, it's would be nice to have a good meal to wrap up the day. Thanks!

Went to Hello Wonton a few weeks back. Good wonton noodles, same owners as Jim Chai Kee (Hwy 7/Leslie, Just Desserts plaza) hence the exact same menu. I had a small wonton and beef noodle. I got three wontons and a few slices of beef, wontons are nice and firm about golf ball sized but the beef was nothing special. The girlfriend got the same thing and we shared a plate of chinese brocoli w/ oyster sauce. The bill came to about $12.
