Boom? More like Dud

Wasn't overally impressed with the burgers... Very greasy and way under seasoned! They can hit temps, but it is a restaurant! Fries & Wings are good...

New elements restaurant- princeton, nj

Portions were appropriate... I had numerous items, as we all shared. I particulariy enjoyed the swordfish and tuna, as entrees, fish cooked nicely... The app's were ok, nothing really stood out... Dessert highlight would have to be the carrot cake... Food is beautifully plated, I think to much emphasis on style not as much on substance.

New elements restaurant- princeton, nj

Had the pleasure of eating at Elements last week... With being open just over 2 weeks, the kitchen still has some issues to work out, but overall food was good! Service was not very good, and with the menu they are serving and the price point, the staff needs to be more on top of the details of service and they need to be more well versed in what they are serving as oppsed to just being able to make a suggestion! With time, I hope this should work itself out!

Baptism Party in Monmouth County

Any suggestions? Looking for a space that can accomodate around 30 people... Any one have any favorites in the Monmouth County (Matawan) area? Keep in mind children will be present so a private room is preferred, although not neccessary... Party would be on a Sunday afternoon, so brunch would be appropriate. We are open to all cuisine, just needs to be well executed! We are pretty open in terms of cost, quality is a must!

HUGE disappointment at Fromogerie

Honestly, service issues and NJ restaurants seem to go hand and hand... It is so hard to get 4 star service in NJ! That is what makes Nicholas, so special. Based on the price point at Fromagerie, service should be seamless... The front of the house at DBnD was run by Donatella, I wonder with their split will have any effect on service there?

David Burke saved Fromagerie! Some of us may want to hold on to what this restaurant was, but the reality is, it was a dying restaurant in need of a fresh breath of life! Is Burkes vision good, not exactly, but beats the alternative...

anyone been to artisan kitchen in lebanon central jersey?

The chef is from Town in NYC, and the sous's have both worked at the River Cafe, and some of Jersey's better restaurants. A friend, who works for a high end food purveyor, told me about them. If there location does not sink them out of the gate, they will impress some people!

Have not been yet but it is on my radar... The chef and his team have some really strong pedigrees, and it is reflected in the menu! Could be a sleeper to fill the void that the Ryland left!
