im staying in madrid for 2 months near plaza de la paja i've been here 3 days so far i've had dinner at la broche, and corral de la moreria. for lunch and breakfast i've just got to little tapas restaurants.
i want to try the best best best food madrid has to offer. anywhere near la latina is great but i plan to leave the area aswell. price is irrelevant i was planning on trying santceloni and sacha...also casa lucia... and i want to hear what everyone has to say about the best tapas and such here. has anyone been to ene? its really near where im staying and i've passed by it..it looks pretty good. also does anyone know if olsen is good? or pan de lujo? any help would be appriciated! thank you!
me and 3 friends are going out and want to have an amazingg dinner to say goodbye to me since im leaving 6 months and also to celebrate both me and my friuends bithday we dont know where to go though... first we thought urasawa but my friend hates sushi..eventhough she loves mako..? so that was taken out of the list then i thought bastide but their closed tonight :( then i thought providence although last time i went i wasn't blown away. so i dont know.but everyone seems to tell me to go to providence. i also have been told sona but i went there two nights ago and thought it was less than amazing. ehh. then i thought my usual weekend spot..lucques. but im getting kindof sick of the same menu. so basically im down to a few options mako, aoc, providence, or lucques sorry if im being difficult but any advice is so helpful trust me
does anyone know how often lucques changes the menu because i've tried everything on there and want something new :)also does anyone know how much dinner at bastide or providence would cost for 3 people if we went with the tasting menu?
its not really about what types of food..because im headed to europe and french food along with tapas are my favorite and thats bascially what i'll be eating for 6 months wooohoo but its more about the best dining experience as a whole. ive been to saddle peak lodge and love it i've never been to urasawa, and its what i was leaning towards but my friend is not really a sushi fan we all LOVE french food, and anything out of the ordinary.
i haven't been to spago for almost 4 years i think do you highly reccomend the tasting menu there? better than bastide and providence? thank youu
