Fulfilled - Newly Opened in Beverly Hills

I'm also loving this new pastry shop and have already gone twice since they opened 3 days ago. I wasn't pleased with the wait time on the grand opening date but I think I've now tried all of the flavors except Green Ninja since I don't like feta cheese. I love how the edges are crispy but the batter is moist and chewy on the inside. I wonder if they put mochi in their batter? I recommend the strawberry cream cheese white chocolate one, although it can be a bit messy with the hot cream cheese filling.

Munch - Banh mi on the Westside?

soggy? i had a chicken satay sandwich which had tons of orgasmic peanut sauce and my bread was still fresh, crisp, and just right, even after eating it hours later. i've also tried the combo one with pate, ham, pork loaf, and that wasn't soggy either. maybe they put too much of the carrots/radish in yours? but i actually think that's what makes them taste so great.

Heads up on Munch - Sawtelle

the sandwiches here are amazing, ginormous, and only cost 3.95. i tried them for the 1st time a few weeks ago and i've gone back many times to try the different sandwiches. i highly recommend the chicken satay sandwich (peanut sauce is great), viet ham and pork loaf combo sandwich, spring rolls, and the watermelon smoothie. i also tried this carbonated apple cider drink in a yellow can with chinese characters that tasted great - better than martinellis. they need to open more of these locations!

Good burritos in LA?

i know it's pointless for me to post something on a retired restaurant, but this place called Tia Juana in WLA had the BEST burritos. the owners retired last year. I cried for days.

Santa Monica Take Out

Babalu on Montana has great and healthy food.

Wolfgang's Steakhouse (Beverly Hills): A Classic American Steakhouse [Review] w/ Pics

I must say I was quite skeptical myself knowing that mastros and cut are down the street, but this place has been doing quite well. However, I do miss the old Umenohana restaurant in this former space.

Best Breakfast in LA?

cafe dana on montana.

Jar...Disappointing

they have awesome brunch specials. try their corn pancakes with coffee

mako or lucques?

love the olives they serve at the beginning of your meal. they also have awesome braised pork.

Heads up on Munch - Sawtelle

seems like every biz that goes in that location doesn't do well. i hope this place does well. the concept sounds great and the location is pretty good as well. has anyone tried that crepe place around the corner (not the crepe nazi booth next to volcano tea but the actual crepe shop inside the olympic collection)?
