Pacific Coast Highway from SF to Santa Barbara-Food?
There will be six of us driving down from San Francisco on Wednesday to Santa Barbara. We need to be in Santa Barbara by Thursday evening for a conference on Friday. I'm looking for restaurant recommendations along the way. So far we have planned to stay the night in Paso Robles. All of us really enjoy good food and wine (who doesn't?). Looking for suggestions from inexpensive to gourmet prices.....Thanks!

Best Italian in San Francisco?
Looking for suggestions for the best italian food in San Francisco. We'll be there in April . Some friends of ours said they had the best italian food of their lives in SF but can't remember the name of the place. Mildly irritating...But hoping someone on the board can help. They did say it was a very small place with maybe 5 tables. Thanks!
Las Vegas over 4th of July
Thanks for the recs. I'll definitely give everyone feedback when we return. I had Mesa Grill on my list of possiblities. I was there several years ago and only had appetizers but was impressed. Love Bobby Flay. I'll check out the menus at the the above sushi spots. Thanks again and keep them coming!

We're arriving in Vegas on the 3rd at 10 pm and leaving on Sunday morning. So far, I only have reservations at Craftsteak for Saturday night. Looking for late night recommendations, lunch spots, buffet, and anything we just can't miss. We're getting married in October (Wedding at the Wynn and reception at Bartolotta) so this is kind of a food surfing trip for us. We want to be able to make dining recommendations to family and friends coming to the wedding. Fiance loves sushi so definitely need a great sushi spot (omikase?). How's Grimaldi's Pizza in Vegas?
Best Fried Chicken
Kind of had my heart set on Willie Mae's fried chicken but have heard rumors that the food isn't as good post-Katrina, the wait is very long to receive your food and it is in a shady neighborhood. Any opinions to the contrary or recommendations for awesome fried chicken?

Wow, thank you guys so much for the replies! I have always felt a strong love for New Orleans every since the first time I came to visit. And both times in the heat of the summer! Can't wait to get back and try all of these wonderful restaurants.
