Try Reds Seafood House & Tavern on Pine Island. According to there website they are open for dinner 7 nights a week.
The wife & I enjoyed dinner there Friday night so much, we went back tonight. IMO the food and service are outstanding!

A little off the beaten path, but IMO well worth it.There is a place on Pine Island called Reds Seafood House & Tavern. Just had dinner there tonight, and it was outstanding food, at a reasonable price.

I especially enjoy the Panda Garden's buffet luncheon that is served on Saturdays only, there are a lot of authentic dishes on it ,which are not served on the weekday buffet.
A favorite of the local oriental clientele, as evidenced by the large crowds that fill the dining rooms.

I'll have one of each heavy chili please, and a chocolate cream ale.

Here are few of my choices, DeSha's Restaurant at 101 N. Broadway, Dudley's Restaurant 380 S. Mill St,Billy's Bar B Que at 101 Cochran Road, & Old Heidelberg at 855 S.Broadway These are all located within a few miles of each other.

As LaLa has posted,I believe only service dogs are allowed in restaurants.

We used to call items like these, a chewed & glued product.

I like it stirfried with either beef of chicken and blackbean-garlic sauce. It definitely is something you have to acquire a taste for.

I blanch it before stir frying, seems to take some of the bitterness out.

Bestfoods Foodservice puts out a line of different soup base, sold under the name "LeGout 095" that is quite good. The Beef or Chicken comes in a 16oz jar,and is sold thru restaurant supply types of stores.
