Thanks for the suggestions. The kids love pizza-only with cheese. I require more than that so by the slice is a great idea. I am tossed between Pagliacia and Zeeks. Our kids have always raved about the first one but I am adventurous and may try Zeeks.
Lunch near Seattle Center
Wife and I are taking our daughter and her kids (5 & 7) to the Pac Science Center next week for the circus exhibit. Any suggestions on good eating places within walking distance of the center? No fast food and no upscale. Keep in mind we have 5 &7 year old palates to please. It has been years since I have been there and I remember a number of eating places in the center but suspect they are too fast food like. Thanks.
A week in Spokane
I have traveled to Spokane three times a year for almost 25 years. It is a chore trying to find a great place to eat there (especially any kind of ethnic) but I never traveled there without having lunch or dinner at the original Longhorn Barbeque out by the airport. Oh I can smell the mesquite wood burning right now.
Port Hadlock Recs for SD Hound
Not much in that area to choose from. Between Port Hadlock and Chimicum is one of our favorite Chinese take out joints. Take out only. Great Cantonese with a little Szecuan and the prices are very affordable. It is at the intersection where the QFC is and the name is Joy Luck. They also have a restaurant in Port Townsend.
Sourdough at Pike Place Market
I may try both of these reccomendations. I am familiar with Three Girls. I especially liked their two pound loaf of carraway rye. Didn't know they were good for sourdough.
NYC C'hounder Visits Cannon Beach, OR
We allways stop at Bills Tavern on Hemlock. Home made beer, and very good pub grub. Doogers and Mo's are two popular dinner (seafood) spots also.
Sourdough at Pike Place Market
I am going to the market this weekend and am on a mission to find some very good sourdough baguettes or rounds. My gold standard is Boudin's of San Francisco but I know I won't find that up here. Can you please tell me if there is something closeto Boudin's at the market or very near by the market?
